CONCACAF
In 2015 CONCACAF: Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football decided it was time for a complete overhaul of their site. With the move to mobile CONCACAF understood the importance of having a site that not only met the needs of the fans and clubs, but was also fully responsive to adapt to the growing number of users accessing their site on mobile phones and tablets.
The site needed to fit two criteria: to provide information to their fans as well as act as informational and education outlet for clubs and players. I initially played the role of Visual Designer on the project creating and maintaining the visual dialogue throughout the site, which later on lead to being Lead Designer where I managed other design staff working closely with the client, project managers, developers, and informational architects to created concepts that would provide solutions to their design problems and maintain the integrity and visual language of their brand.
The scope of work
• Re-brand and create a cohesive design language for the CONCACAF brand
• Create responsive layout including tablet and mobile adaptations of current and new designs
• Providing design direction and recommendations to the client
• Transforming numerical data into compelling designs for the fan base
